For those who have not yet received the NYS mandated district-based DASA training.  Dignity Act training packages include training videos with nationally renowned bullying prevention expert Dr. Karen Siris, as well as PowerPoint presentations and additional materials.  

 

Session 1: Two one-hour training plus supporting materials created as turn-key trainings for building-level D.A.S.A. facilitators.   This training package can be utilized for group or individual instruction.

 

Session 2:  One-hour training plus supporting materials covering the updates to the original D.A.S.A. legislation to be utilized in meeting the training requirements for all district personnel.  This training package can be utilized for group or individual instruction.

 

Cost for both Session 1 and Session 2 Combined: Fee determined by multiplying # schools/district by $75

DASA Certification Training (Blended) 

Complete the required 6-hour DASA certification training through this blended DASA package.  Three hours of the 6-hour course will be completed virtually prior to attending a 3-hour face-to-face workshop.  Course includes: understanding diversity, examining personal biases, developing sensitivity to the experiences of specific student populations, understanding how school climate and culture have an impact on student achievement.  Learn intervention and prevention strategies including how to interact with families.  Understand reporting requirements for educators.
