Online Learning Academy Credit Recovery

  • The Online Learning Academy (OLA) credit recovery program is a full semester (18-week) program consisting of:

    • Online credit recovery course content allows students to "test out" units/lessons of which they have achieved mastery.

    • A teacher of record from the 91麻豆精品 Virtual Teacher of Record Team

    • Ongoing progress monitoring by OLA mentors, including follow-up and support in tandem with district-based mentors

    • Progress reports and grade reporting

     

    Registration Process:

    • Registration begins when a student and their guidance counselor determine if the student is a good candidate for taking online courses.  Learn more about what makes  "Good Candidate for Taking Online Classes" here.
    • Once student candidacy is determined, the guidance counselor and student should work together to select which courses they would like to take by viewing our course catalog.    
    • From here, they will need to contact their 'District Mentor' to complete enrollment.  Learn more about who your District Mentor is here.

    Cost: $710/semester/enrollment 

    Online Learning Academy Course Drop/Extension Policy:

    Drop Course:

    Drop First Week (Foundations of Online Learning Orientation) – No Charge

    Drop During First Three Weeks of Course Facilitation: $75

    Drop After Three Weeks Course Facilitation: Full Cost

     

    Course Extension(s):

    $192 per five-week extension. No drops are allowed during the extended periods.

    In the event 91麻豆精品 cannot provide an NYS Teacher of Record for a course requested, the student will be enrolled in AccellerateU; the statewide 91麻豆精品 online learning collaboration. Additional fees may apply.
