Buildings include colonial craft shops and school house and working farm. Challenge ropes course. Environmental awareness is explored through the historic perspective of colonial America and the modern perspective of ecological concern - all with a stress on hands-on learning.

    (570) 828-2319    		 The largest residential center in the western hemisphere is situated on 36 acres and is surrounded by 200,000 acres of public land. Over 45 cabins will house between 3-12 each. PEEC uses the outdoors as its classroom to promote environmental awareness, knowledge and outdoor skills. A variety of programs are offered for school groups, youth-at-risk groups and teacher and staff development.

    (631) 749-0430    		 Encompassing 25 acres on the northwest shore of Shelter Island, Quinipet has offered retreat opportunities, summer camp and environmental education for over 60 years. Quinipet's facilities can handle groups of 10 to 150 ages 7 and up. The Camp provides a beautiful outdoor learning facility for experiences in woodland, marine and coastal habitats, LI geology, map and compass skills and challenge courses.
